Let go of large caseloads and back-to-back therapy sessions that leads to burnout and isn't sustainable, and begin working with fewer clients in a spacious and longer-term way, where your work is deeply valued by your ideal clients and you feel energised.
Most therapeutic models are built around shorter term work, fixed timeframes, and structures that prioritise consistency and accountability, which creates a way of practicing that’s widely accepted yet can limit the depth of the work.
What you can feel and what you may have experienced yourself, is that when more time and space are available, something different happens, as clients are able to process more fully, feel more deeply held and move beyond what’s possible within six, eight, or twelve sessions.
The work here supports you in moving towards that, where your practice is shaped around deeper relational work and longer term containers that allow your clients to be supported in a meaningful and continuous way.
You were taught a way of practicing that made sense at the time of qualifying and gave you a way to begin. As you’ve evolved, your awareness has deepened and your sensitivity to what your clients actually need has become more refined, yet the structure of your practice has remained largely the same.
Fifty minute sessions, one after another, create a rhythm that asks you to keep going without much breathing space to hold what’s happening in the room, and over time this shapes not only how you work but what you believe is possible within the work itself.
The depth of transformation your clients can access is influenced by the space you’re able to hold, and when that space is constrained by models that no longer fit, the work naturally reaches a limit, regardless of your level of skill, care, or intention.
From the outside, your private practice reflects success, yet on the inside there’s a tiredness that’s built over time, not only from the work itself, but from the way you’re doing it no longer fits as you've evolved as a therapist. You move through back to back sessions holding space for others whilst noticing a growing disconnection from yourself, your creativity and the depth you know is available as the therapist you're becoming.
There’s a part of you that can already see ahead and recognise that this isn’t how you want to practice for the next twenty or thirty years, especially when you can feel how much more is available within the therapeutic relationship when there’s more time and space.
Receive resources and a guided audio walk to elevate your mindset
See what becomes possible beyond traditional therapy structures
Explore a different way of practicing that allows for more time, space, and continuity
Identify and begin releasing the patterns keeping you in session-by-session based work
Understand how past systems have shaped your beliefs about what’s possible in your practice
I know this not only through the therapists I support, but through my own experience of working within systems that required me to show what I was doing rather than fully focus on the person in front of me, which created a constant tension between a desire to focus on my clients care and what I was being asked to do instead.
I stayed within that traditional system until I had my children and at that point I could feel that I couldn’t hold both in the same way, which led me to move fully into private practice with a clear sense that I wanted my work to feel more meaningful and that this would require me to change how I was practicing.
I didn’t know exactly what that would look like at the time, yet I knew that I needed to move away from the short term, session limited approach and begin creating something that allowed me to be alongside my clients in a deeper and continuous way, while also having abundant time and energy for my family.
Inside this complimentary training, you’ll begin to understand how the systems you’ve worked within have shaped your beliefs about what’s possible in your practice, and how those beliefs continue to influence the way you structure your work, even when you’re no longer within those systems.
You’ll be guided through a process that brings these patterns into awareness, so you can begin releasing what no longer serves you.
Alongside this, you’ll be introduced to a different way of relating to your work, one that allows for more time, space, and continuity within the therapeutic relationship. With these changes rippling outwards to other aspects of your life.
You’ll also receive a guided EMDR resourcing exercise and audio walk, designed to support your system in feeling safe to expand into this new way of practicing so it begins to feel not only possible, but available to you now.
