Step three is designed to give you continued support with a psychologist, allowing you more time & space to grow.
Learn emotional regulation skills to ground and move out of survival mode, then deep dive into processing the root of your difficulties so you can let go of your past & stop repeating unhelpful patterns. Here you'll move beyond the surface to meet your inner child with great care and develop compassion for parts of you that have been suppressed or neglected. A space to resolve unfinished business and trauma and even though EMDR is the backbone of this work, it's complemented by other evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT & DBT to suit your specific needs and goals.
Root Down takes one month & consists of two 90-minute sessions/week i.e. eight sessions.

You've moved out of survival mode in Root Down & now have space to grow - it's only natural to rise up in an aligned & meaningful way. Here you'll have holistic support to elevate your personal and professional life. Using EMDR peak performance protocol and other psychology modalities like ACT, you can connect with your values and reduce any performance anxiety or imposter syndrome stopping you from living the life you want.

Before creating a practice for highly-motivated people, I worked as a psychologist in the NHS and in private practice offering regular sessions.
My expertise suits people affected by traumatic life events, and when I extended appointments to 90-minutes for trauma processing, it seemed to really help. The longer session meant memories could be processed more fully in a single session rather than starting & stopping over a few 50-minute sessions. Longer appointments suit your natural rhythm, and having more time means extra space for resolution too.
Working this way became second nature, so I reviewed my services and figured out what changes could be made to serve my highly-motivated & high-achieving clients better. Crafting an Online EMDR Intensive, Rhythm Reset and building a warm & welcoming retreat in nature were the first steps to a kinder and more attuned service.
